Creole Crispy Baked Chicken


Prep Time : 10 minutes ... Bake time : ... 45 to 50 minutes ... Makes 6 servings
Non stick cooking spray
8 ....................ounces (1 cup ) nonfat French onion soup
Fat -free skim milk
1 ....................cup cornflakes crumbs
1/2 .................cup wheat germ
6 ....................skinless chicken breasts halves or thighs (about 1 -1.2 pounds )
1) Preheat oven to 350*F , Spray baking pan with nonstick cooking spray .
2) Place dip in shallow bowl ; stir until smooth . Add milk , 1 tablespoon at a time , until pourable consistency is reached .
3) Combine cornflakes and wheat germs on plate .
4) Dip chicken pieces in milk mixture ; then roll in cornflake mixture . Place chicken in prepared pan . Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until juices run clear when pierced with a folk and chicken is no longer pink .
