Aunt Jeannie , the videos are great , we just finish watching them we was late getting home from working . Chris and I had to go to sci-port this morning for our studies , daddy is working at the hotel and he told us when class was over to come there . all the cubs was in the game room when we got to daddy and he took all of us to lunch , we went to our hotel room to watch tv daddy went back to work we all went to sleep watching tv. aunt Jeannie we was working so hard to raise money to go to DC and poppa said we did good . Chris and our team is ready to go . mama will check tomorrow to see who won the penny contest . poppa said they sold 5 rolls of tickets . aunt Jeannie are you feeling any better we hope you are . we was tied for 2 place in Baton Rouge . all the parents was so happy . aunt Jeannie I like the deep sea best , I like them all . Thank you aunt Jeannie for the videos and sending a piece of the pig uncle Gregg cook . love you .

DeleteYou and Chris and the other cubs are hard working, dedicated and just wonderful. You have all done a terrific job for your team. It must mean the world to those kids and their families to be allowed to go to DC. The best thing, is that a winning team has been kept together. You guys work so well together it would have been a great shame to break you up. And your chances of winning are so much better with that unbeatable combination.
I would love to know how much you made with the penny contest. Poppa's right you did great. You deserve a good rest and a nice reward. That trophy would be the best reward, I'm guessing.
I bet you are all raring to go and take on the competition. It would be wonderful if you win but you have already achieved so much.... more than anyone expected. Just to be included in the DC debates is an honor and a achievement. If you don't win one of the top places this year, there is always next year. You and Chris are a lot braver than me. I always got nervous speaking in front of an audience. Maybe I was always afraid I would fall off the stage or pass some gas very loudly. I don't know...but you are my heroes.
I love deep sea videos. It is so hard to believe such creatures exist right here on earth and we never knew about them until the last couple of years. They look something like I imagine aliens would look.
I am feeling good thank you buddy. I hear uncle Gregg's pig is the best ever. I will sure enjoy that. I have scraped up all the good luck and positive energy in Canada and am sending it to DC with you. Wish I could be there to watch you.

Aunt Jeannie , we are having a great time we are real busy , we had mama birthday party , mama was so happy , daddy and uncle Chris and poppa and uncle Harvey and Jerry and the teams daddys went night fishing and they caught 2 tubs of real big fish , the other mamas came up on mama birthday to help cook . the team members came with the mamas and we had a good time , CC and brown Baby and Lynn was there with MeMa , Man told MeMa Lynn was bad because she did not mind him , MeMa said Lynn is just like you was you did not mind anyone . Aunt Jeannie , we did good on raising money for D.C. and we had fun . all the grown ups and their friends help us to raise money . Daddy said we would go on vacation when Jonny is finish with D.C. Mama is working in Daddy office , Aunt Jean said some of the people at the hotel office say mama is tough and scare of her . Poppa just laugh and say that is doing her job . Aunt Jeannie I like all the videos and the monkey and dogs and babies I like them best . Aunt Jeannie I am so proud of my big brother all the girls like he and Chris still run and hide sometime . DeleteI am so glad Mama had a nice birthday. I bet you cubs made it very special for her. Wow! that sounds like an awful lot of fish, even for the big crowd of people you had up at the cabin. There must have been some fish left over to take home.
I remember that Man didn't mind anyone too much. He always did his own thing and thought he was one of the big kids. But he turned out okay.
I am so proud of the way you all pitched in to help the team get enough money to go to DC. I understand you worked so hard that you all fell asleep in front of the TV. You did a very kind thing. Some of the families did not have enough money to go to DC and their kids would have missed out on the most exciting trip in their lives. Be proud of yourself.
Do you think Mama is scary? Hahahaha! She may look scary but on the inside, you know she is soft as mush. You guys know you can make her cry with happiness. And look how hard she works for Daddy when he needs her.

Guys his age and Chris's often hide from girls. Girls tend to make them nervous even if they like them. I know, because Sam and Jake are the same way. Sam is a bit more shy than Jake. Jake is more relaxed and easy going. Girls like Jake because he's funny and makes them laugh and that breaks the ice.
I hope the videos made you laugh. Laughter is very important... it makes you feel happy.
Jonny sent me some roast pig so that sauce will be fantastic. Thank you. How do you feel about magic carpets? Being a genie, I have several. I think I will send you a sky blue one.

Aunt Jeannie , hope you are doing better and enjoying good weather and your mama is doing better . We worked real hard when we got back from Baton Rouge to raise money for D.C. We made it yesterday and I can hardly wait to see how much we collect from the penny jar . We has car washes yard sales and bake sales . we wash cars at my daddy place and some yard sales . we had car washes and yard sales and bake sales at uncle Gil place , he has a big parking lot and more shade of the cake sales . aunt Jeannie we wash the floor with those kids in Baton Rouge , they just knew they was going to beat up because we was 6th graders , the 8 grade boy that got sharp with Jonny , I was debating with one of his teams mates on the environment and he stood up and his team mate told him to come on . I look at Jonny and he was ready for him and I told them my team mate was coming up and Jonny came up and said thank you Chris and he look at the guy and said I told you we will meet again . Jonny said it in the microphone so every one could hear him . Aunt Jeannie Jonny had that guy so confuse he almost start crying , he will be going to high school this year , when the judges start with science and space , I knew we was going to know them out , the last 15 minutes Jonny look at me and I bow my head yes and took the stand and after a few questions the guy walk off and one of his team mates took the stand . They was from Minden not far from us . We had good time this month and daddy and uncle Gil said it was not over . Aunt Jeannie all the videos was good and the funny raccoon was so funny , they all are funny and I think you for sending them to us . I am sending you some apple cobbler , it's so good . love you and hope you feel better .

DeleteI am good, thank you and I will tell my Mama that you asked after her. I sure am enjoying the fine weather. Not so much the big thunder storm we had a few days ago. I think it was the tail end of Hurricane Authur. Man, there were lightning strikes all over the place.
I know how hard you guys have been working to help the other families so they can go to DC. I think that was totally decent of you and very kind. That's what you do when you are part of a team. They would do the same for you if they could. I bet you know how to wash cars really good now. Hahaha! I do wonder how much you made on the penny contest. That is going to be some exciting trip. These are the good times, my friend, and you earned them.
Those grade eights sure learned their lesson when you were done with them...like don't brag and don't count your chickens before they hatch. Being confident, however, is a good thing.
When I knew that the environment and space were topics on the schedule, I just knew you guys would blow them away. I hope the rest of your summer is just as great my friend and I hope you have a cool vacation.

Aunt Jeannie , how are you feeling I hope the weather is nice and you feel better sitting out side listening to the birds and Maxy is being a good boy . aunt Jeannie this is a very busy summer for us , my mama said it is all part of growing up as long as you enjoy what you do . aunt Jeannie I can hardly wait to learn how much we raise in the penny jar , all the team mates will be going and they are very glad . we wash cars and sold bake goods and people would come by and put in their orders and poppa told them that they could come down to Poppa Country Herb Garden and order what they wanted and also get home cook food to carry home or eat there . Uncle Gil said poppa could sell you your own teeth with them still in your head , I laughs at uncle Gil because he is funny and do not know it , poppa is funny to . aunt Jeannie I like all the videos and we will watch them again when everyone finish writing you . DeleteThe weather is gorgeous and my flowers look so pretty now. I do feel so much better sitting out in the fresh air. Maxy is not a good boy. He hates all the chipmunks and chases them and barks his head off. He thinks they are his enemies and chases them up the drain pipes. Then they run out again and tease him and run circles around him.
You are not kidding when you say this is a busy summer for you. You guys have worked your butts off to raise money for the team. I think you are an awesome bunch of people to be so kind and helpful. Just imagine, when you see the debate team up on that stage in DC, you'll know it's partly because of your help.
Poppa did great selling baked goods...even the ones he stole. It was all for a good cause and a good laugh. Poppa is a heck of a good salesman. As we say up here, he could sell ice to an Eskimo. Uncle Gil is funny and so are Poppa and Uncle Harvey. They have a lot of fun.
If you did such a good job on the cars, watch out, your Daddy might want you to wash his cars every week from now on. Hahaha! I bet the food is wonderful at Poppa's Country Herb Garden. Your family sure knows how to make good food. I bet your mama does.

Aunt Jeannie , those are some keen videos and we watch them time we got home , We finished working Saturday and poppa took up to the game room Sunday , we had fun then we went to the museum we all love going there . We are getting ready for D.C. the grown ups worked hard helping us , the teams family and friend help a lot and poppa and uncle Harvey work , they help the ladies with the bake sale and Nanook gave some of his crafts to the yard sale Miss Della went to the flea market with mama and the shops and got things that was ot selling fast and put them in the yard sale . Daddy said Sha and Jenny and Sheryl take care of Bubba and Man , keep up with them . one lady said girls one of the boys took off running to the front , it was man , I too off behind him . Aunt Jeannie I pick up his shoes and then his pants and then his drawers at the door I went in the lobby and Man was running to daddy office with his naked but and daddy was coming out the door and Man went by him like a shot . The man laugh and said well Mr Carano he said he had to pee . Dadd said look in the closet and get him some dry clothes . Miss Anita call me and ask what happen and Man was in the lobby with his naked butt and daddy said come here you are not to let the ladies see your junk . Man do not know what daddy was talking about . Aunt Jeannie we will be going to D.C. soon I had a good time there when we went for the bears , daddy took us to museum and places of history . One of Jonny team mates daddy is an accountant and daddy will hire him to work in his office . The man is going to give his boss notice when we get back . I think it is 5 people leaving daddy office going to Reno . Mama is helping daddy until he get the hotel and casino people ready . Mama is letting us and some members run the meeting now until school starts , Miss Davis is helping . Aunt Jeannie all the videos are funny and poppa and uncle Harvey is learning the magic tricks poppa is so funny , he told MeMa that he would make her disappear when he want her food , Mema had fried chicken for dinner , aunt Susan told poppa and uncle Harvey , they went to steal it and got caught they told MeMa they was hungry Mema told poppa to go home and eat and poppa said mama had a lock on the kitchen door , aunt Jeannie the kitchen do not have a door to shut poppa is so funny. This week I could not find a good scary movie but I will find one next time that will scare the pants off you... worse than the clown one. I don't think Poppa or Uncle Harvey would be any good at magic tricks...are they?
I love museums a lot too. We have a lot in common. I guess you needed a break from all the hard work you guys have been doing to help the team. It was a good idea to sell off some of the Nanook stuff and I wonder how much the penny contest made for the DC trip.
