Aunt Jeannie , our team won 3 place and we celebrate last night , we got some music and order food , the hotel made a room into a big room for sitting and studying . Aunt Jeannie , we did not study much , we only knocked heads for a couple hours every day . we went to see a lot of sight and they was having a tour of the white house , it real big and we got to see the president office . it is round . we did not get to meet him he was busy seeing about the plane getting shot down . you have to make an appointment to see mr. Obama , I guess it is like daddy at his office you have to make an appointment to see him . We like the congratulations post and poppa said that is uncle Chris in the back shooting his rifle poppa is so funny . the teams parents told mama the other team posts was gone , they wanted some . Mama told them that blog act crazy sometime , she said when we get home she will get them and take them to daddy office and make posters for everyone . mama told them she could not do it on her laptop she do not have a copy machine here . Aunt Jeannie we came in 3 place , we only got one strike and it was from the team that won 1 place , this is their 2 year . Dear team, Laura O., Cathy, Laura H., Linda, Daisy, David, Otis, Seth, Jerome, Chris and Jonny What an amazing performance. You are all champions and heroes. Enjoy your success; you sure earned it. Just think about all the older teams you knocked out....that was wicked. You are very smart debaters. I was proud to root for you. You must have been so excited to go up on the stage to get your awards. Hard work is always rewarded. I bet the parents were all busting with pride. And I heard that Jonny gave a pretty wonderful speech that made his mama cry. ( She always cries when she is happy)
I am so pleased you saw the White House. It is impressive ...and I bet it felt awesome to be in Mr Obama's office. Too bad you did not get to debate with him....maybe someday you will. If the parents want the other posters....when they get home to their computers they just have to click the words 'OLDER POST" at the bottom of the page and all the others will come right back.
