Golden Pork chops
Prep time : ...15 minutes ...Bake time : ... 35 minutes
Makes 4 servings
1 ..............can (14 -3/4 ounces) cream style corn
1/2 ...........cup finely chopped onion
1/3 ...........cup finely cup celery
1/2 ...........cup finely chopped celery
1/2 ...........teaspoon paprika
1 -1/2 ....... cups crushed corn bread stuffing
4 ...............boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 6 ounces each )
1 ............... tablespoon brown sugar
1 ...............tablespoon spicy brown mustard
1) In a large bowl , combine the corn , onion , celery and paprika . Stir in stuffing . Tranfer to a greased 11-inch x7-inch x 2-inch baking dish .
2) Arrange pork chops over stuffing . Combine brown sugar and mustard ; spread chops on top . Bake uncovered at 400* for 35 to 40 minutes or until meat juices run clear .
This entree is hearty and perfect for warming up on a chilly winter evening . The aroma is almost as delightly as the dish itself .
