1 . Bake from scratch. You will get less unwanted fats, preservatives and added ingredients when you prepare your own. You may be surprised how simple it can be. Baking is a great family activity that will help your child learn important life skills, too.
2 . Make half a batch if you are worried about having the temptation of too many sweet treat around. Or package up some for a neighbor or loved one. Almost everyone likes to receive a homemade treat every once in a while.
3 . Look at your recipe and incorporate healthy substitutions. Use applesauce to replace oils and fats, use whole-wheat flour instead of white flour, or flax seed to replace egg. Each recipe is different, so you may have to experiment to get the best texture and consistency.
4 . Keep your portions small. Make cookies using a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon and limit the number of cookies you eat. Don’t eat cookies before your meal or when you are really hungry, as you may tend to overindulge. Enjoy cookies as an after-meal snack, paired with low-fat milk for added protein.

Daddy say baby let the kids have them , poppa daddy was eating as many as us . Hello G. glad to see you are in a better mood than your son , boy , he had them hopping at HR today and I was so glad , he told them he don't keep telling his kids the same things over and over . I warned them , he will clean up both places . I didn't know it was oatmeal cookie day , Harvey brought me some and they are delicious , I like the ones with the nuts and raisins best . ReplyDeleteYou are really getting good at this posting thing and those cookies was delicious ( the ones you brought Lynn) Emil had sold all the ones MeMa and aunt Mamie baked . They was very large about the size of a salad plate . Emil said it was about 200 cookies , Eloise and Nancy helped them bake . Aunty cooked for the family she sent uncle to HR and the casino to work , I didn't dare go over there . Jean said personnel is taking applications like mad . I hope they weed them out before they send them to him . See you tomorrow poppa .

I do so think the people at HR wants to send him back to her (laughing my butt off) Jean told them to interview the ones they think will get hired before they send them to him . One person asked Jean how did he keep his people at his office , Jean told them that most of his people has been with him since the beginnig of him opening office here and he do not go in everyday .
