Dear Sha,I was happy to hear you had such a marvellous birthday. Mamas and Daddies have a way of making your dreams come true. It is one of the greatest pleasures we have, seeing your happy faces.A draft board is so essential if you are going to design anything. I couldn't have done without one at home when I was a working artist, even though I had a huge one where I worked. A clothing designer ? Wow, I am impressed. I bet you got that talent from your Mama. I have heard she is very talented. You have very thoughtful brothers and sister too for buying all those supplies for you. Keep a sketch pad by your bed. Sometimes your most brilliant ideas happen at night. Sometimes even your dreams give you ideas. Wouldn't it be fabulous if you sold your designs in the hotel shops and flea market? Then you would learn what people liked and what the trends are. It's all about learning and refining your craft. You can be a lawyer too. No one says you have to be just one thing.I am so proud that you are contributing some of your earnings to Nanook. You are a very good person.Your own debit card too? Keeping track of your income and outgoing is pretty hard for some people so it's a perfect time for you to learn to control your own finances. When you said you liked making 'pretty things'. I thought it was a perfect name for your business. I put a few more on WAG and I will add to the list if you want me to. I like inventing names and designed several logos for businesses too. But somehow, I think you and your brothers and sister will come up with something more appropriate. Just don't use Man's suggestion of "Man Horse Poopsie"...HA!You don't feel different because changes happen slowly, a bit at a time. But you have reached your first milestone in life. They are the markers along the road of life. It is an important marker because you are getting a peek at what it will be like to be an adult.Don't take Poppa's brothers too seriously. I don't think Poppa takes them very seriously. I know he can be tough if you make him mad but he still makes me laugh. He is a great guy to have on your side. Junior deserved to have the stink knocked out of him. There are not many things in this world that are more offensive than racism. We all have to make an effort to eliminate it from the planet. It's a big job.Nice of you to give your brothers a discount...Hahahaha!You will always be your daddy's Little Woman. I'll always be my Dad's Honeybunch. You never grow out of that.I love you and wish you the very best of luck in your business. I will definitely buy one of your fashions if I am ever down your way.Bye for now my luv,Aunt Jeannie
Come on in , set awhile and have a cup of tea and cookies , as always you are welcome .
