Dear Butterfly and Brian, Thank you ever so much , you are so kind. The doctors told us Monday he may out live us all . His last words to me was he did his last job . Paul went in to wake him up and he was smiling . I do so think he was happy he got his last wish to see his grandson and his family come to America to be with his family . Sal was 107 , long loving life . Again I thank you . Hugs and love HB
Hello HB Uncle Sal was indeed a happy man. He brought all the people he loved together and got to see it. And the last years of his life were spent among family who loved him and cared for him. I don't think anyone can ask for much more than that. He must have had a very colorful and eventful life, watched history happening and the world changing around him. I hope he lived it to the hilt and enjoyed the love of a good woman or two. That smile on his face was a last gift to you.
