  1. I just watched ten minutes of this movie and there are some profanities. The rating is thirteen
year olds. My appologies. It was in with a series of family movies and I didn't think I needed to check it. Glad I did.

  6. Aunt Jeannie , the videos was great we did not get to see the one you sent daddy and poppa , I told them we did not want to see some old silly stuff . My teacher ask me if I wanted him to help and I did as daddy told me I said thanks , I run my own show with miss davis help aunt Jeannie daddy is so funny and he is just like poppa .
I saw a mama elephant poop a baby elephant and I asked daddy why the poop did not fall out , daddy look said that was no poop that was a little elephant in a bag being born uncle Harvey said Gil do you think they should leave the room daddy said no it was nature and he want us to know that bringing life in the world is beautiful and he want us to learn it from home . The baby could not get up at first and all the big elephants push him around and daddy said that was to get him to his feet so he could eat he said that was their way of giving the baby love .
I told daddy I was happy to see it because mama said in a few years we may not have many wild animals to see and enjoy . aunt Jeannie my teacher is so silly he askes me so many things about Nanook I try to tell him but as daddy say a lot of grown ups have little pea brains daddy said Jen do the best you can to teach him in time he will catch own . Mr . Edwards has a lot of kids parents mad at him and they want to take their children out of his room , I told daddy he was a nice teacher just a little dumb . I told daddy maybe that is the way they teach the kids in Texas , daddy asked me did I want to move to another room and I told him no I will tell mama if I want to move . Poppa say school just started and mr. Edwards will settle down , I told poppa as long as he stay out my way it will be all right . Like daddy said some grown ups think kids do not know what they want but never to talk back just tell him and he will handle it . I am sending you kisses , hugs and all the good stuff on a rainbow in the sky , poppa say you like rainbows and butterflys poppa is funny like daddy . Thank you fove the videos and we all love you .

  7. Jeannie ,
No apologies is neccesary , an honest mistake that anyone can make , I too , been caught with my pants down and very recently . The elephant poop is the latest one , I was glad they saw it at home , I didn't make a big deal out of it because there was none , I do think it's the way you handle a situation not the situation itself . I always check what my kids read and/or watch that is a parents duty . I also got them Videos , DVDs that was PG rated .

Dad told me how upset you was and said you would leave the kids entertainment up to the parents .

Jeannie , what I am trying to say , mistakes are made every day, no sense in beating yourself up about it , my kids look forward to getting posts , videos and DVDs from you so please continue, as I said I check them , I also check the ones I get them . As you and I both know kids movies is not like that once was .

Baby told me your mother was not doing well , here's hoping she is resting as well as can be expected and your husband is well .

I do so thank you for caring about my kids .

  8. Dear jonny
I liked the gorilla video also. I think I would have liked to be the guy who was sitting with the gorillas. That big daddy gorilla looked big and tough.
I am glad you like your teacher. The school year is much nicer when you like your teacher and she likes you. I hope Jenny and you and Sha do a really great meeting and speech. I think people are starting to understand about Nanook and global warming don't you?
It's nice of your sister to help you with your science project. Do you like science? Maybe you could be a scientist or do you still want to be a lawyer like your dad?
You can be whatever you want buddy.
I heard a little bit about the elephant from mama and I laughed.I have seen an elephant have a baby too. It looked like awfully hard work to me. Im glad I am not an elephant.
Hugs and kisses always make me feel good. Thankyou for all of them.I tuck them away in my heart. I have quite a few from you now.

A big polar bear hug for you and an eskimo kiss...love Aunt Jeannie

  9. Hello Sha,
I think I watched the gorilla video four times. It was so cool and the guy was so happy that the gorillas touched him and stroked his hair. It meant they liked him.
I think the posters are a great idea. It gets people's attention and then you and Jenny and Jonny and mama can teach them something.

Aren't you lucky that your teacher is fun so you can enjoy learning? This will be a good year for you, I just know it.
I think a lot of girls will like Jonny as he grows up. He will have to get used to it. And someday you will have a boyfriend. What do you think of that?
I enjoy ancient history don't you and don't you think there were some amazing things in King Tut's tomb?
I bet that mama elephant is happy she got that baby out of there. Baby elephants are very cute and I bet they are fun to play with.
Thankyou for the love and kisses. They sure do make me feel better. There must be magic in love and kisses..... A big polar bear hug to you and an eskimo kiss. Eskimos kiss by rubbing noses...Love Aunt Jeannie.

Did you like that baby elephant? I bet he would give you a ride on his back. Wouldn't that be fun? I know you are a big boy now and soon you will go to school.

I am sending you a big kiss inside a bubble...Lots of love, Aunt Jeannie

  11. Hi there Jenny,
I loved the gorilla video myself. and you are very welcome.
You really do run your own show honey and you do it very well with Miss davis'help. I guess your teacher just doesn't know that but he will understand after he has been to one of your meetings and heard you give a speech. It sounds like he doesn't know too much about global warming. I hope you can teach him a few things.

Daddy is right; It is very natural for animals to have their babies that way. I know it looks a bit strange to kids if they haven't seen it before but it is a wonderful part nature. Baby elephants are so cute but they have wobbly legs for the first few hours. They have to learn to walk right away so they can feed. Elephants are very good mamas.

I heard that Mr Edwards hasn't been teaching very long so he doesn't know all the stuff the other teachers do yet but I think if you are patient with him he will get better at it. Don't give up on him unless he makes you unhappy in his class. He has to learn that a lot of kids know exactly what they want to do and he should just help them like miss Davis does.
I know Daddy and mama will make sure you have no more problems in that class. This is going to be a good year for you and you will enjoy it.
Thankyou for the kisses and hugs and rainbows and butterflies. I love all those things and they make me happy.... I am sending you a polar bear hug and an Eskimo kiss like I sent your sister and brother. You know Eskimos kiss by rubbing their noses together...Lots of love Aunt Jeannie

  12. Hi Gil,
Well all four of your kids told me about the elephant pooping a baby so I think it made quite an impression on them. I can still remember my own shock and awe when I saw a birth for the first time.

It may be a good thing. It will certainly start them thinking about reproduction. I imagine they grilled you pretty good about it and they are not done with you yet.

You know even Harry Potter is rated PG-13.I think the best thing we can do is look at the material ourselves. I didn't do that this time until after I posted it and I did feel responsible. But I know you check stuff out thoroughly and nothing inappropriate gets past you.

    Take care... Jeannie
