Dear Man I was so excited to see a note from you. What a big boy you are now. And you write very well. It will be awesome if you write me sometimes. You may not get an answer right away but I promise you will get one. Uncle Brian has a sweet tooth and loves cookies and candies. He has had more than one tummy ache from eating too many. I will give him your good advice. Jaye has made Halloween cupcakes and cookies so I know he will be stealing some. He reminds me of Poppa because he steals sweets all the time and pretends it wasn't him. I know you will get some good stuff when you go out trick or treating. I remember what fun it was. We also put soap on car windows and wrapped toilet paper around our neighbors bushes and trees if they did not give us treats. We didn't play really bad tricks. But Johnny Crowell once put a paper bag of dog poop on my porch for a Halloween trick. My Dad wasn't very happy about that. He picked it up and the poop fell out the bottom. I think he said a bad word. When my house is finished you can write me any time. It will only be a few more weeks I hope. The plaster dust in here makes me cough. I am not going out to trick or treat, just visiting someone for the evening. WOW! your own room. I wonder how you will decorate it. That is pretty grown up. Right now I am wearing a skeleton suit and I'm going to jump out of the bushes to scare Uncle Brian.I hope he screams. Hugs and candy kisses Aunt Jeannie
Dear Sha I am glad you like the post. I have made some gifs but not this time. I hope we get some treats tonight too. We are on our way out. I think all the kids have gone home now. It's about 8:30. It was a real delight to get a note from Man that he actually wrote. His spelling is not too bad. I think Jake's spelling was the worst when he was little. It was almost like another language. I think your Dad will remind you more of Poppa as time goes by. We do become more like our parents as we get old. That is how Poppa lives on...through his son and grand kids and even your kids. I hope you are having fun tonight. Halloween is really just for kids and they sure love it in my neighborhood. Some of the teens collect bags of food for poor and homeless people. We put a bag of food on the porch every year. One neighbor on our street dresses up like a gorilla every year. Most of the kids love him but the toddlers always scream when they see him. He gives out the best candy. Have a great time and thank you for the nice note. Love and many hugs Aunt Jeannie
